Cannot believe that it is time to write another Whisper.
It only seems like yesterday that I wrote the last one.
Does this mean that I`m getting older because the year seems to be flying by.
There are a few events coming up so keep an eye on our web site, Workers.net.au
It will inform you as to what bands are on in the bistro and any events like the Hangi that is happening on Sept 17th.
We were sorry to hear of the passing of some of our long term Members. The names are mentioned in the tributes page. We are thankful that we had the privilege of knowing them. R.I.P.
Don`t forget about our Little Library, it seems to be very popular at the moment. It has certainly been the weather to curl up in front of the heater and read a good book. Feel free to bring in your books and take ones that interest you.
Please make sure that you keep the 23rd October free for our A.G.M. Come and have your say if you wish. It is your Club so we value your input as to how we run it. We are hoping to see lots of members in attendance.
It is now coming to an end to our footy tipping comp. Things are getting tight at the top.
