It is great to see lots more members starting to come
into the Club to enjoy the facilities. The Club has been making
a few improvements and there are more to come. The Café is
very popular and members seem to be embracing the change
and all the different food offerings especially the potato cakes.
Painting has started on the on the bulkhead at the front of the
building and slowly but surely over the next few months you
will see more improvements.
It was sad news about the Queens passing. Even if you
are not a royalist you would still have to admire what a
remarkable lady she was and her 70 years of service to the
people of Britain and the Commonwealth. May she rest in
peace.
Our next function will be our Melbourne Cup Day
Luncheon. A buffet lunch for $35 .00 a head. See the enclosed

Another important date to put in the diary is October
23rd for our Annual General Meeting. There will be no voting
on the Saturday as we have no nominations for the board. We
would like to see lots of Members attend. The Club does not
run it self and the members support is needed. Hope you can
make the time to attend.
